About Me —
Mor Ghermezi,
MS CCC-SLP

Hi, I’m Mor (she/they) - and I’m here to help you find your voice.

I’m a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist dedicated to helping people express themselves freely, confidently, and authentically. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with genuine care and partnership — because communication isn’t just about words, it’s about connection, self-expression, and feeling seen.

Every session is personalized, supportive, and focused on real-world communication that feels natural and empowering. Whether I’m working with a child discovering new ways to express their ideas or an adult exploring their affirming voice, my goal is to create a space where growth feels safe and meaningful.

My Background

I specialize in two main areas of practice:

  • Gender-Affirming Voice Therapy & Coaching
I work with trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals who want their voice to reflect their identity. Together, we explore pitch, resonance,      communication style, and more in a supportive, affirming environment that prioritizes vocal health and confidence.

  • Pediatric Speech & Language Therapy
I help children develop communication skills through play-based, engaging sessions that build confidence and connection. My pediatric work focuses on articulation, expressive and receptive language, and fluency.

What I Do

I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College in 2020, and I currently practice in Westchester, California. Over the past several years, I’ve worked in Southern California public schools, supporting children from preschool through middle school.

Before that, I served as a Research Assistant at Montclair State University, where I contributed to the published paper “How Grammatical Are 3-Year-Olds?” I’ve also worked as a Supported Living Service provider for adults with disabilities and volunteered at the USC Language Development Lab, deepening my understanding of communication across all ages and experiences.

In recognition of my commitment to professional growth, I received the 2023 Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Credentials & Certifications

  • MS, Speech-Language Pathology — Emerson College

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) — American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

  • California State License — Speech-Language Pathology

  • Trans Voice Certification — Seattle Voice Lab

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew

My Values

As a neurodivergent person, I make it a priority to ensure my approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming to all. I know firsthand how important it is to feel understood — not just in how we speak, but in how we are received.

That’s why I meet every client with empathy, flexibility, and curiosity. Communication is deeply personal, and therapy should feel collaborative, safe, and grounded in respect for each individual’s journey.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me rock climbing, crocheting, or spending time outdoors. These hobbies help me recharge and remind me of the joy in creative expression — something I try to bring into every session.
